I am not the moderator that wrote all this, but I do agree with the person who did and I will warn those who make mass favoritings on the club pages ; )

There are actually two points I wish to emphasize here.. the first is this: FAQ #216: Are there any rules for accounts being used as clubs or 'group' accounts?

To everyone who views this gallery be they members or not...
Many of you have been disregarding the rules regarding favoriting images in this club. so..
Do NOT Favorite images in this club's gallery!
Follow the link and then favorite it!

As a reminder, Every Deviation is submitted with a link in the description which will take you to the same image as uploaded by the owner.

What that means, folks is you only have to click one more link before you can favorite the image.

One or two I'll let slide, however...If I find several or more messages in my message center from the same person, I will get on your case about it! And if you continue to disregard the rules, I WILL continue to hassle you about it!

furthermore IF you are one of the few courtious people out there, who choose to un-favorite everything you favorited from this gallery, then it might be in your best interest to let me know that is what you are doing by note or comment.
Favoriting as well as un-favoriting images from this gallery will show up in my message center as favoriting.
And I have neither the time nor the desire to sift through everyone's favorites to determine wether they were adding or subtracting from their collection.

Why is Favoriting such a big deal here?

Two reasons.. Most importantly, the club itself did not create the artwork.
When you favorite something, it is added as part of a collection on your main page and when other deviants browse through your favorites, they will be taken to even more artists by following these links.
Instead of bringing them here, they should be brought to the artist him/herself who created that image, as they probably are interested in the artwork and would like to view that person's gallery.
Besides if you wish to share this club to the visitors that come to your gallery, it would be better to link to us in your signature or in your journal.

Secondly, DA keeps track of the number of times a submission was favorited. This is part of an artsit's stats. This number should be increasing only on the owner's gallery because they made the artwork. Not the club. It's just disrespectfull to favorite from the club as opposed to from the artist who made the image in the first place.
